Outcasted Orochimaru is labelled Rogue Ninja - Naruto Shippuden 352 review

* Danzo visits Orochimaru’s hideout to let him know that they were betrayed and that Danzo will be after them. Third Hokage, Lord Hiruzen, prizes the Wood Jutsu as Leaf’s priceless possession. Finding out that someone have experimented with this forbidden jutsu on children and on shinobi prompted an immediate investigation. Danzo, woken up in the middle of the night and briefed on Hiruzen’s small army closing in, called up Kinoe, his young Wood Style user.

 

Orochimaru was facing Anbu fighters lead by Hiruzen Sarutobi. There wasn’t much need for alarm, Orochimaru was more than capable of taking care of them. Signing some sort of jutsu, Orochimaru produced strong pressure waves that knocked everybody to their knees.

 

Leaving the underground hideout, Orochimaru finds another Anbu fighter waiting there for him. Kakashi had his lightning hand ready as he attacked without warning. Orochimaru ducked down and when he faced Kakashi again, his kunai was ready to slice at Kakashi’s face. Second later, Kakashi’s mask fell off in two pieces.

 

“I like the look in your eye” Orochimaru said calmly, “but I don’t need a fake.” With that Orochimaru licked his kunai and his snake slithered around him to attack. When the snake opened its mouth however, a paper bomb placed inside its mouth exploded. It turned out that Lord Hiruzen had set up this trap beforehand. Bleeding from his right side, Orochimaru walked right through Kakashi, as if there were no obstacles.

 

Learning of Orochimaru’s injuries, Lord Third dispatches some more Anbu troops. The knowledge, data and the Wood Jutsu itself, all that belongs to Hidden Leaf and has to be brought back. Orochimaru is badly wounded and he cannot be allowed to leave the land of Fire.

 

Kakashi is among many searching for the rogue ninja. Promising to himself, Kakashi swore never to fail against Orochimaru again. He summoned his ninja dog fighters and asked them to follow Orochimaru’s scent.

 

Kinoe, the Danzo’s young pupil, delivered a message to a hideout inside a huge tree. When he got there, a heavy smoke, or mist surrounded him. Some of the smoke materialized and a man appears in front of Kinoe. Then an entire Iburi clan and their leader Gotta. Young girl materialized close by and said to little Kinoe, “Tenzo, welcome back”.

 

Little Yukimi recognised Kinoe as Tenzo. It turns out that she was calling for her little brother Tenzo. She took him around showing him many small trees each sowed to commemorate a dead person. Yukimi explained that people in her clan never lived long and they didn’t really have control over the smoke, but Orochimaru had found them and implanted a curse mark on the back of their necks. The curse mark was to stabilise the smoke transformation capabilities. Many more experiments were necessary and Tenzo as well as many others went to Orochimaru for experimentation.

 

Suddenly, Yukimi noticed great many more trees that were planted and started crying. Kinoe took a fallen down branch and planted it in hope to calm her down. Yukimi noticed, then took Kinoe to the tree opening close by. “There are great many tree caves like this one”, she explained. Yukimi then showed Kinoe to a special secret spot she and her younger brother Tenzo once shared. Inside this place in the dark there was a crevice through which sounds of the outside world came in and were heard. Yukimi explained why the people of her clan never go out. The wind is dangerous to this clan. It would disperse the smoke these people would turn into and that would kill them.
