The title of this episode of Naruto Shippuden 223 is "The Young man and the Sea".
Naruto, Yamato, Guy and others get on their way to to Hidden Cloud Village in the Land of Lightning secret island to train with Killer Bee and his Eight Tails control of Naruto's Nine Tails. At the Land of Fire sea port the group examines the bark on which they are to sail across the sea to the secret island.
Guy finds out that no sea men would accompany them as there is a monster in this sea rumored to attack any boat. Guy and Aoba then volunteer to go ahead to the sea to kill the monster. When he spotted this humongous swordfish, he thought it was a Wild Summoning Animal. Swordfish looked like he was going to run them all through but mysterious guy named Yusuke threw a double edged spear against it. The attack didn't hurt this marlin one bit, but it did distract it. Marlin quickly turned against this guy, when Naruto grabbed him and held on to him. Holding onto anything can present a serious problem to a ninja. Without hands to call his hand signals, Naruto found himself defenceless.
Yamato called for a wooden jutsu and threw his wooden arm in front of Naruto, so to protect him from the sharp sword of the swordfish aka Summoning animal. The fish realized that this was too much of an obstacle and withdrew.
Later Yamato summarized that this monster was probably a left over casualty of Third Ninja War. Evidently, for this marlin the war didn't end yet. The fisherman winding a rope around his arm said: "Your ninja wars are such a nuisance!" The fisherman, brave though he was determined to catch the marlin once and for all. If only he had an engine, a strong boat to withstand the blows of this marlin, and a sturdy rod with a lure on the hook... The fish killed his father, so he would be the one to kill it, he would have his revenge.
Naruto was impressed with Yusuke's determination, that he asked Yamato to give Yusuke a helping hand. Guy helped with his over the top enthusiasm and Aoba concluded that as long as the monster is there in that sea they cannot hope to sail out. Naruto added that shinobi are to blame for Yusuke's misfortune. In the morning a strong boat and a fishing rod were waiting for Yusuke. Guy would work the paddle. Yusuke tastefully chosen a lure that resembled Naruto, saying that he does look like a good lure to marlin.
Guy propelled the boat as quickly as he could trying to match the speed with marlin. Bate was snatched and marlin pulled the boat in great speed. Soon he started showing signs of exhaustion, one more flight and marlin gave up. Naruto noticed something sticking from marlin's body. He picked it up and learned that it was Demon Wind Shuriken from the Third Ninja War. Marlin sighed in relief and swam away. Now it could return to his birth place.
Ship with Naruto and his crew sail to Hidden Cloud Village in the Land of Lightning. Bushy Brow Sensei is still sea sick, but it seems that Naruto S-mission Group arrive at the secret island and encounter "The Ninja of Benisu".
