Naruto is summoned to the Great Lord Elder to hear his prophecy. The title of this episode of Naruto Shippuden 220 is "Prophecy of the Great Lord Elder". The key burned into Pa Geezer's back by Jiraiya is the secret key, Tetragram Seal to unlock Nine Tails. Minato, the 4th Hokage entrusted Jiraiya with the key and it was meant to be returned to Naruto. In exchange Jiraiya was left with justu. Naruto was to perfect this jutsu before receiving this key to unlock this Nine Tailed Fox. Great Elder, knowing that last time they tested unleashing Nine Tails didn't go well, was quite reluctant to give Naruto this key.
Tenten remembers how Naruto stood up to Pain to protect her. When Nine-Tails came out she remembered the intense anger, but no Naruto's will. Capturing Nine Tails, or controlling it would be tremendously difficult and risky. If Nine-Tails takes over, it needs to be stopped at any cost. This war will also be about protecting Naruto from Akatsuki and the Nine-Tails.
In the last episode of Naruto Shippuden 219 we were happy to see Lady Tsunade awaken from the long standing comatose. Now that she is up and soooo hungry, she is trying to regain her chakra. Amazed at the Allied Shinobi Force and even more surprised at the fact that Madara Uchiha is still alive, Lady Tsunade, current 5th Hokage of Hidden Leaf Village, begins to make preparations for just another war. The Fourth Great Ninja War. War council has been assembled and it is headed by Lady Tsunade. Ninja tools and foodstuffs need to be in stockpiles. Shinobi needs to be divided into battle units and reserves.
In the Intel Division Karin is being interrogated. She claims that she was forced into hard labour and treated like dirt by Orochimaru and Sasuke. Poor Karin! She is being asked about Akatsuki, Sasuke and Kabuto. She'd speak, but only if her demands are met. Karin wants fried pork cutlet bowl...
Naruto is walking down the street being welcomed and talked to. This is quite unusual to Naruto, but he doesn't seem to mind. School kid media trio keeps following him. Naruto decides to run away from them when he notices a beautiful girl. He cannot believe that someone as pretty as this girl would lay her eyes on him. At first he things it's Konohamaru, cloned into this gorgeous creature. Then he starts running away, creating dozens of clones to get away. Only this girl does the same. The first thing that came to his mind though, when he finally got rid of this girl, was not her, but a large tonksu miso with BBQ pork. When he was about to dive in his first bowl of soup, he suddenly disappeared and found himself eating Ma's bug soup. Pa did one of his Reversed Summoning jutsus on him. Declining the geezer food, he was brought to Great Lord Elder to learn about his divine future. Giant Gramps Sage, as Naruto called him, saw a prophecy involving Naruto meeting with an Octopus. "You will fight a young man whose power lies in his eyes."
Gerotora was asked to show Naruto the key that unlocks the sealing jutsu. Unlocking the Nine-Tails would send him free. Naruto was asked to unseal Nine-Tails. In battle feelings of hatred can come out. Naruto no longer wants Nine-Tails inside him. For many years he'd been wishing that he was just another normal kid. Naruto will need Nine-Tails chakra to fight Sasuke. No use hiding. It's time. "I am going to conquer this thing, Dad!" Join us next week on Thursday July 28th.
