Naruto Shippuden movie 5, entitled "The Blood Prison", the 8th Naruto Movie. The plot takes place in "Hozuki-jo", or blood prison. Naruto is accused of killing jonin from Kirigakure and Iwagakure as well as attempted murder of the Raikage. Naruto Shippuden movie 5 takes place in the prison. How can they imprison Naruto you ask? He is after all a jinchuriki of Nine Tails. Well, the prison's warden uses a special jutsu to steal all powers from inmates. Naruto will have to use his wits to uncover the truth about these murders and to prove his innocence from the confides of the prison walls. [GoogleAd]Lord Raikage orders keeping an eye on the Kusagakure box, which promises granting any wish. The story goes back long time. It is said that Kusagakure once almost conquered the world using this box. This box needs to be taken seriously. Raikage discusses security issues with his closest when gas starts sneaking in between the doors and everyone faints. Dark hooded figure runs and Raikage attacks. After short fighting dark hooded figure reveal itself as Naruto.
Next day Naruto is called to see Lady Tsunade the Fifth Hokage of Hidden Leaf village. She told Naruto about the accusation and Raikage's confirmation. There must be mistake, Naruto would never... Tsunade is concerned about the relationship with other villages and refuses to listen. Naruto is being sent to Houzukijou jail at Kusagakure a tightly controlled shinobi prison controlled by Mui, a brutal prison master.
Upon arrival, Naruto is being briefed; told he was being worthless and inside this prison he belongs to the warden. Mui performs his special jutsu, Katon: Tenrou! or Blood Heavenly Imprisonment technique. Naruto was marked with seal that would make working with his chakra and his Nine Tails impossible. Mui explains there are only two ways to leave this prison. First is to have Hidden Leaf village officially ask for Naruto's release and second is to die. Tenrou mark will burn Naruto every time he tries to escape.
At night Maroi on orders from Mui abducts Naruto from his cell. Mui suddenly picks up a knife and stabs Naruto. It turns out this was just Naruto clone and real Naruto was trying to make a run for it. Traps stopped him quick though and Naruto falling into a deep shaft saved himself only by inches. This escape attempt failed.Mui and his cronies sit around a round table and talk about Kusagakure's revival. Naruto being a jinchuriki has something to do with this. Mui is concerned about Flower village spies in the blood prison's staff. Someone asks how they're going to get rid of Iwagakure's Kazan. Concerns are raised about his skills as well as weaknesses.
A wisper is heard below Naruto's window. A man suggests for Naruto to defeat Mui. That would make his Tenrou seal disappear and own powers of Nine Tails restored.
After his disciplinary period expired, Naruto takes his first opportunity to attack Mui in the courtyard, but standing no chance as his chakra was kept in check by Mui's seal. Naruto was soon dragged by guards back into the disciplinary cell.
Mui wants to know what Hidden Leaf village means to Naruto and asks; "Have you ever killed someone you had no grudge against in order to protect your village?" Naruto of course didn't but Mui thought that was impossible.
Mui descends into a dark room deep inside the prison, where the box of paradise is. He talks about the unimaginable power that box beholds, how it leads to satori the spiritual enlightenment. The he adds, no matter what you do, it will lead to ruin.
Naruto is back out of the confinement into the dining area of the prison. He gets cheered by seeing ramen when man named Maroi walks towards him and starts clapping his hands. Others cheer on as Naruto gets a round of applause for trying to escape and facing Mui. Naruto gets his well deserved bowl of ramen. 
Sprawl is heard in the courtyard. Many inmates are now facing Mui, believing that if they overcome Mui their seal would be released. Mui signed Soukage-ryu: Happashou! (Exloding Palm) and finished off couple of dozen inmates. Then he singled out one inmate and called Tenrou Kaken (imprisonment burning blade) and then burned this guy to an ash. Naruto catches a break. Leaving a clone behind in his cell, he clobbers a guard to steal his clothes and runs for the ocean. At the cliff he hears a voice advising him not to jump in the water. He turns and sees the same GUY? advising him not to dig too deeply into the prison affairs when he just got there. Naruto just can't give up or wait for someone else to prove him innocent. He jumps.
Currents are too strong to sign anything. GUY catches his hand when his energy is all but spent. Sitting by the fire he thanks him for saving his life, then stares at the guy. "What are you looking at?" The guy asks. Naruto looking silly asks: "Are you a transvestite?" This earns him a slap across his face, but it does turn out this guy is a girl. She asks Naruto not to tell. After all Naruto owes her his life. Her name is Ryuuzetsu. She used to be part of Kusagakure's ANBU.Ryuuzetsu went to Blood Prison because she knew that Mui framed Naruto to get him in his prison. Mui is Kusagakure jounin that along with his clan guards the Box of Paradise. The box grants any wish to whomever opens it. Ryuuzetsu explains that during the era of Sage of the Six Paths, Kusagakure opened this box and nearly conquered the world.
Since that era there have been two conflicting groups. A military group led by Mui called "The truth of the grass" trying to revive Kusagakure and use the box to wage wars, while "The Flower of the grass" striving to keep the peace. Enormous amount of chakra is needed to open this box and that is where Naruto and his Nine Tails come in. Mui is a ruthless ninja who ones sacrificed the life of his own son and fed it to the hungry box. It turned out it needed more chakra to grant wishes.
Naruto realized that with him dead they would not be able to open Kusagakure. Ryuuzetsu asks Naruto to open the gate and destroy the box so that no one could abuse its powers. Naruto and Ryuuzetsu return to Kusagakure.
