Allied Shinobi Forces commando hits Akatsuki unit hard!

Konkuro faces Sasori. Using Sasori's very own pupet, Konkuro attacks Sai's brother Shin. Inside Shin's body there is Deidara's detonating clay. Konkuro distracts Shin with the puppet and when time is right uses Salamander Black technique to box Shin in. Bomb explodes inside Salamander with little effect. Deidara revives Shin though and wants to send him to fight his brother Sai. So long as Shin's soul is tied to earth, he can always be revived and used as puppet.
[GoogleAd]Shin doesn't get a chance as Sai draws couple of scary creatures and uses them to attack Deidara. Konkuro takes advantage of this distraction to use Puppet Jutsu on both Sasori and Deidara. Both get boxed in and tied and Omoi uses his lightning swords to keep them occupied.
Scene goes back to Shin and Sai's past when they both practiced throwing kunai. Shin was coughing blood but wouldn't let Sai see it. Later that day he gave Sai a brand new sketchbook. Sai thanked and promised to draw pictures of both of them. Day has come for the final test. Lord Danzo orders them to fight to death. An exercise designed to dull one's emotions by fighting a comrade. Shin collapses though and tells Sai that he will be the one who will live. Sai saw blood as his brother coughed. Shin's last words were: "I wish I could have seen your drawing".

Konkuro and his Puppet Jutsu are keeping Deidara and Sasori in check. Konkuro reminds Sasori that he is well aware of his fighting style. Sakura has told him. He reminds Sasori of times when he fought Granny Chiyo who unsealed her special Puppet Master Justu and produced 10 puppets. Sasori was impressed with Chiyo's secret "Number of Fingers", but he was able to sign Hundred Puppets. He once used them to bring down an entire nation. Konkuro explained that the source of his power lays within his soul. Now the puppet Master Sasori is manipulated by Kabuto. When Sasori heard this he started dissipating as well. Konkuro realized the flaw of reanimation jutsu. Controlling emotions is not that easy, but tapping into opponents emotions may lead to demobilization.
