The Straw Hat Crew bumps into the strange fishmen who are riding sea-beasts. Hammond, one of the fishmen, showed his hate to the crew by referring them as "those sinful humans" and by insulting Surume for carrying them. Surume leaves the Thousand Sunny because he got scared of the fishmen. Hammond delivers a speech and addresses the achievements of the crew (defeating Arlong, defending Hachi, and punching a World Noble). And then, Hammond proposed something to the crew: they can join the New Fishman Pirates or die. Luffy did not agree with Hammond and pulled a face at him. While all of this is going on, Nami suggests to Franky to use the Coup de Burst, in its fullest power. By using this feature of Sunny, they can zoom all the way towards the Fishman Island.
Everyone is ready including the ship, and then Franky activates the Coup de Burst! However, the strong currents from the bubble split up the Straw Hats and the Sunny. After the incident, Luffy finally wakes up and sees Sanji, Usopp, Chopper together with a group of small mermaids. Everyone was happy that Luffy is now awake and they had a small chat until Keimi arrives. They haven't seen Keimi for two years that's why they are all excited, especially Sanji.
Keimi tells the crew that she was about to see them. She is still happy that they arrived at the island and gives them some soup. But she freaks out because the soups are cold! Meanwhile, the Medaka Mermaid Quintuplets arrived and gave the crew their now dried clothes. Keimi introduces the quintuplets to the group, telling them that they live in the girls dorms of the Mermaid Cove, making Sanji very excited. Luffy and his group leaves the apartment of Keimi and went to a higher level of the island riding a sea turtle.
Along the way, Luffy asks Keimi if she knows Hatchan and Pappug. Keimi explains that Pappug is a well-known designer living in a mansion while Hatchan can be found in the Fishman District. The group was amazed as Keimi shows off the bubble roads, it is an air-filled area of the island. They finally reached their destination, and someone calls out to Keimi, it is Ishilly, who is taking a break together with other mermaids. The group was overwhelmed at the sight of real mermaids. The Straw Hats are all excited to meet the mermaids. While Sanji is crying because of too much happiness, one of the mermaids grabs his arm and asks him to dance with her underwater. Sanji can't believe that this is happening, and he can die happy on Fishman Island. In another place, Hammond together with the other New Fishman Pirates told their leader that the Straw Hats already entered the Fishman Island. Their boss then orders them to capture the crew and bring them to him right away.
