Inoichi walked in on his daughter as she was taking a shower. That is in ladies room and without knocking... Embarrassed, awkward like, he tried to clue in on what's going on in Ino's life. She is a young woman after all and as such should have some interest in ... uhm dating. Would she choose Shikamaru, Choji?Three brats started bickering close by when Shikamaru imposing Shadow Possession Jutsu and Ino talking them out of it. On a roof old man noticed the teamwork and praise the three for it. The old man was no other than Kisame, the legendary eternal genin.
Shikamaru remembered how they met years ago, when Kisame stole some important scroll intel from enemies. Three brothers boxed him in then. Shikamaru completed his Shadow Possession Jutsu and Ino Mind Transfer Jutsu and with Choji's help and coordinated ninjutsu formation, the three brothers fought themselves. The formation "Ino-Shika-Cho" is the title of this Naruto Shippuden episode 239. 
Kosuke greatful though he was to be saved, said that he was saved twice by Ino-Shika-Cho formation. The second time from three brothers. The first time it was just day before the destruction of Hidden Leaf Village. Kosuke described how he cooked a pot of stew when Third Hokage approached him. He mentioned the final chuunin exam as he shared a bowl of stew with Kosake. Third Hokage also mentioned a power balance check and a mutual distrust between villages. He send a message via Kisuke. The special code message between Sarutobi clan pronounced by Kisuke to Ino-Shika-Cho (older) team was: "it's too early for leaves to be dancing in the air". 
Then something made Kisuke feel like there was a trap in that message. He fought bravely in the first minutes of the enemy attack on the Hidden Leaf village. He then saw Shikamaru's dad Shikaku employing the Hidden Leaf's secret the Ino-Shika-Cho on his enemies. First the Shadow Paralysis Jutsu, then Shadow Strangle Jutsu, then Inochi pulling a Mind Destruction Jutsu. Enemies started fighting each other. 
Kisame jumped into the crowd of enemies approaching, willing to fight them all. Ino-Shika-Cho Trio jumped in to save him. Shikaku with his Shadow Stitching Jutsu connected them while Inochi made them all dance. Kisuke praise the Trio for overwhelming opponents while instilling courage in comrades. 
Kisame explained just how strong dads were making the kids trio of Ino-Shika-Cho realize that they have much to work on to match up to their old men. Shikamaru realized that they may not be as strong as their dads, but they will be going into this war by themselves. Kiba is rambling about Naruto this and Naruto that... During Chunin exam if it weren't for his fart I wouldn't have... Kiba is pumped to be better than Naruto. The title of next episode of Naruto Shippuden 240 is "Kiba's Determination".
