The major battle in this episode of Fairy Tail 104 is somehow a prelude to something greater. There's a little indication that something awesome will happen. Almost everyone had their own fights, and these battles are really intense. The outcome of the battle between Makarov and Purehito is really amazing. Although the battle was finished quickly, Makarov really tried his best but he's no match with the god-like Purehito. The winner Purehito was really fast in releasing his powerful circles. In just two attacks, he managed to perform the 28th formation of Amaratsu to the 100th!
So what made Purehito fall to the darkside? There's a possibility that pure magic can turn to evil, given that magic originated from darkness. However, this is also not a case of evil or good, but more of a corruption obtained from absolute power. Let's not forget that there's a possibility that Zeref met Purehito before and the former's extreme power has driven the latter insane.
After Makarov gets defeated by Purehito, he shouted out to his grandson Laxus. It was nice to hear that Makarov recognizes Laxus as his "successor" even though he is already exiled from Fairy Tail. It just means that his grandfather wants him to go back and take over his position in Fairy Tail. But, Laxus' exile has a purpose, he was able to discover himself more. If Laxus will return, he is definitely wiser and stronger which is something to look forward to.
Most of the Fairy Tail members had their own battles. According to Purehito, all of them use lost magic, a magic closer to the pure kind. The Fairy Tail has three members with lost magic, and they are Natsu, Gajeel and Wendy. Makarov is already down, so they have to their best to defeat the enemies.
Natsu encountered a strong god slayer. This one has a higher level of strength compared to a dragon slayer. Natsu can't eat the black flames and this is a brutal challenge for him. The other Fairy Tail members had their own shares of struggles with their opponents. The team of Lucy, Cana, Gray and Loke is against Capricorn, the goat with glasses. 4 against 1, he must be really powerful. But Lucy is also strong using her Celestial Spirits. The tandem of Evergreen and Elfman will fight RustyRose. Juvia and Erza against the robot-like Meldy. And let's not forget, Lisanna and Mirajane taking on Azuma. Azuma is really strong and it will be interesting to see how will Mirajane handle the battle. Before the episode ends, it's funny to see Hikaru floating in the lake, the same place where Lucy and Cana were earlier.
