Fifth day of storm. All onboard work their parts to make sure ship stays on course. Naruto has his clones to count on pumping water from below and pouring it overboard. Tired but obedient clones work hard. Yamato announced that more work is needed at the mast. Clones, a bit more reluctant helped out there too. When storm finally ended one of Naruto clones asked another to fix the mast again. "Why me? Cause I am a leader. Who made you a leader?"... a spur among clones began. Mast did break and ... Naruto woke up (or did he?). Realizing what the havoc is about he sat down to have a talk with his clones. 
One Clone says You learned a Wind Style from us and you do not have a one-on-one relationship with us. Accused of having a bias and prejudice towards his clones, Naruto realized that his clones changed. One more gloomy, one a softie, and one actually feminine and wearing a makeup. Each clone a bit different and Naruto bewildered and without understanding that these clones are actually inside him and part of him. Naruto listens to his sexy clone telling him that without him there would be no Sexy Justu.
Irritated, Naruto tried to release the Clone Jutsu, just to make the clones disappear. But it did not work. Clones made a stand. They will not disappear until Naruto cool his head and repents. Leader Clone explains that Justu release depends on willingness of clones themselves.
At this moment clones grab Naruto and tie him up and took control of the ship. Then they demanded that Yamato steers the ship towards a nearby island. Guy sensei didn't believe that clones would actually harm Naruto, but he needed some long overdue rest from the sea sickness so he concurred and the ship landed. Guy, Aobe and Yamato and the rest of the crew were thrown onto this island. Naruto Clones demanded changing work conditions, compensation and ensuring security as well as improving their meals. Oh, and ramen too. If their demands were not met, clones will remain on a strike. Aobe realized the seriousness of the matter when he imagined explaining things to Lady Tsunade. 
Guy just enjoyed his bowl of curry and when he finished eating, he took his clothes off and jumped in the sea to swim over to the boat. Clones could not believe this as Guy sensei is a shinobi and as such he could walk on the surface of the water. Guy sprang from the water and started chasing these clones. If even one of them got hit, they would extinguish. First round in the open waters was won by clones. When waves hit the ship and ship started rocking, Guy got seasick and Clones were again in control of the ship and Guy.
Aobe thought of a Animal Art Jutsu and dressed as a seagull invited many other seagulls to come to the ship to have a feast on the fish clones were catching. Clone threw all the fish in the air and all seagulls disappeared. This bought Yamato enough time to build a wooden wall on the ship casting out all clones and untying Naruto and Guy.
Guy tried to defuse some of that anger when he suggested that Naruto should listen to clone's demands, that they work hard enough and that they deserve appreciation. Naruto disliked Guys pleas saying he is the real Naruto and that they should listen to him as to a parent. Guy insisted that he should take another look at them and try to understand. Naruto called for hundred more clones, but they took clone's side too. Now clones have machetes, axes and chains saws and all they want to do is kill Naruto.
Naruto snaps out and realizes that all this nightmare was just in his head and in fact it was a clone that saved his life when metal piece of mast came loose and fell on his head. The strike,demands and fight... all this was the clone's dream and left behind in Naruto's body.
War will begin soon. Will the right kind of decisions be made? Will friends lives be safeguarded? Tough times are upon us. Title of next episode of Naruto Shippuden 231 coming this Thursday is "The closed Route". Enjoy this preview of Naruto Shippuden episode 231.
